For any new students I would like to introduce myself:
My name is Sanne Stahnke and I am a trained ballet dancer out of The Royal Danish Theatre and School of American Ballet.
My career has mainly been abroad among others, with the Dutch National Ballet in the Netherlands and on Städische Bühnen in Frankfurt, Germany. I have been a solo dancer in Theater und Philharmonie in Essen, Germany and in Malmö Stadsteater, Sweden.
For the last couple of years of my ballet-career I have worked at the Pantomime Theatre in Tivoli. Alongside my dancing career I have been teaching ballet at all levels.

The Junior Company

It is time for the elite class to have an official name when doing performances. When we were in Bhutan in 2008 we played with idea of calling it "Hellerup Classical Ballet Junior Company", or The Junior Company.
The Junior Company consists of students from the elite class and depending on the actual arrangement different students will participate. If nec
essary students from other classes will also be used.

As mentiones above, in 2008 The Junior Company were in Bhutan where we did a performance in connection with the crowning of Bhutan's 5th king, and the centennial of manarchy and democracy in the country. See pictures from the trip here.

Apart from The Junior Company other of the school's classes often do performances, on schools, nursing homes, on TV or outdoor arrangements. We have participated in The H.C. Andersen Festival in Odense 2005, performed on Ordrupgaard, been on DR's Sommer Summarum, Bubber and last, DR's Isas Stepz.
